Pop pirates is a fairly basic, yet incredibly addictive arcade style vertical shooting game that uses colorful and entertaining graphics with a fun story to draw the player into the game. while in the beginning, the game feels fairly simple, as you progress through the levels, you'll find the action gets much more difficult; particularly when you are forced to face off against 'the boss' at the conclusion of each level. the boss is never easy, but this game can be beaten as long as you're willing to stick with it. in a game this fun, however, sticking with it isn't that difficult at all. expect to get frustrated and expect to have to retry several times, but with patience and practice, even a newcomer to vertical shooting games should be able to make it through.
