If you want to make a surprise cake for your best friend's birthday, you should try a minnie mouse one. start to mix butter, flour, sugar, milk and baking powder in a bowl and pour the batter in two square trays of different sizes. bake them in the oven until they get a nice golden color. in another bowl blend some butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt and milk. divide this mixture in two bowls and add yellow food coloring in one and blue in the other one. spread the yellow butter-cream on the bigger cake sponge and spread colorful sprinkles on it and fondants on the edges. spread the blue butter-cream on the smaller cake sponge and decorate it with colorful stars and pink fondant. place the blue cake on top of the yellow one and then put a picture of minnie mouse on top, surrounded by blue fondant, like she is getting out of it. good luck!
