The weekend is perfect for a family dessert. what should we cook today? i am in the mood for a yummy rhubarb pie. it sounds like a fab cooking idea! even better, why don't you join me so we bake the pie together? once you have a bite of my fantastic dessert, you will immediately fall in love with it. let's make sure i have all the necessary cooking ingredients and tools in my kitchen first. search the cupboards and fridge for flour, sugar, salt, vegetable shortening, unsalted butter and ice water. we will need these ingredients to make the pie crust. great job! the filling is as important. besides chopped rhubarb, we also need strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and one large egg. follow the cooking directions and once the rhubarb pie is done, bake it on a tray in the oven. such a delicious dessert may only last for a few hours, so how about baking a second pie? have fun playing our brand new cooking game!
