"a rare gem – a math app for older students that is really well done" - 5 stars! - the imums "it's fun, challenging and kid-safe – three things all education apps should be." - apps happen "this format of game is a stroke of brilliance" - funeducationalapps.com math heroes needs you! help grandpa and grandma numbertson defeat the dragon invasion. we’ve built math heroes to support classroom learning and we've worked closely with kids and educators to provide the most entertaining and educational experience possible. our goal was to create a fun environment that extends past the basic question and answer routine. to do this, we've included awards, boss battles, printable certificates, achievements, wallpapers, collectibles and lots of other fun things. this game is sure to have little heroes learning with the app every chance they get. math heroes is rated for ages 10 and up and the 4 levels of difficulty per game make it suitable for students of all ages and adults too. currently there are a multitude of games to choose from as well as a fun packed heroes' hideout chock full of players collections and achievements. each game focuses on a skill developed during typical 5th and sixth grade curriculums. younger students should be able to give it a whirl, but they may have some difficulty with certain games. skills currently emphasized: 1.addition and subtraction of integers 2.comparing multiplication products 3.ordering fractions 4.division 5.multiples 6.perimeter and area of rectangles and triangles 7.multiplication be on the lookout for more games in future updates! privacy/ coppa (children’s online privacy protection act) we feel learning should be a safe and fun environment and we've taken steps to make sure of it. we hold our users’ privacy and security as our highest priority when building our apps. as such, we don’t include in-app purchases, facebook, or twiiter links. we comply fully with coppa and as such we don’t collect any personally identifiable information from our users.
