You have to run really hard to keep ahead of the robot. and you do have to, otherwise the robot will step on you and crush you. jump rocks and everything else that gets in your way and keep the distance between you and the robot as long as possible. when you jump a bomb it will ignite and explode at the robot, slowing him down for a bit. try to get as far as possible.
