Final fortress is definitely no easy strategy shooting game, but it is a lot of fun and it is entirely addictive. from the very beginning of the game you're going to find yourself striving to do well in this fast paced and intense shooting game. the great thing about this game is that it doesn't just settle for sliding easily into one game genre. it combines elements of classic strategy games with classic shooting games to provide any genre fan with a game they'll find challenging and will really enjoy. the premise of the game is simple and one that isn't terribly unfamiliar in the world of strategy shooting games. your city is under attack and it's your job to protect it from enemy forces using the canon you're armed with at the beginning of the game (the shooting game element) and field units you will build using the money you collect in each level (the strategy game element). enemies attack more quickly and in greater numbers, increasing in strength as you progress in the game. this is really what makes the game the most difficult but is also what makes it so much fun.
